Repair is often an absurd and futile act. Fixer Upper is an exhibition set within Safehouse 2, presented by the artist collective Changeable Beast Bringing together 19 artists, the exhibition explores the past, present, and future of the building through works in which gestures slip, repeat, or fail. The result is both comic and uneasy: a space where control feels performative and fragile. Fixer Upper invites audiences into a space of renovation and repurposing, shaped by unexpected, playful encounters.
